About this role
You will harden Sequester's production environment???live configs, network policies, and runtime controls???so attackers meet friction at every layer touching user data.
What you will do
- Review and enforce production security baselines (CIS, provider hardening guides)
- Implement runtime security (Falco, EDR) and file integrity monitoring where applicable
- Partner with SRE on secure deployment patterns and immutable infrastructure
- Lead production access reviews and emergency change security sign-off
- Coordinate pen test and red team remediation in live environments
What we are looking for
- Production security or infra security engineering experience
- Comfort making risk calls during live incidents and maintenance windows
- Deep cloud and Linux hardening knowledge
- Tier-4 access requirements including background and bonding
Location
