About this role

You will specialize in Sequester's cloud estate???optimizing cost, resilience, and security posture while keeping encryption-adjacent services isolated and well-monitored.

What you will do

• Architect multi-region cloud layouts for object storage, compute, and managed databases
• Implement IAM least-privilege, service accounts, and cross-account logging
• Right-size resources and automate shutdown of idle environments
• Lead disaster-recovery drills using cloud-native backup and failover patterns
• Stay current on provider security advisories and patch critical control-plane dependencies

What we are looking for

• Deep experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in production SaaS
• IaC proficiency and fluency in cloud security benchmarks (CIS, provider well-architected)
• Cost awareness without sacrificing availability for vault services
• Credential and background requirements per access tier policy
