About this role

You will design and operate the foundation Sequester runs on???compute, storage, networking, and observability??? with security and recoverability baked in from day one.

What you will do

• Build and maintain IaC modules for cloud and hybrid infrastructure components
• Implement network segmentation, firewalls, and private connectivity for sensitive services
• Partner with SRE on SLOs, capacity plans, and incident response for platform outages
• Automate provisioning pipelines with peer review and drift detection
• Evaluate new infra services (object storage, KMS integrations) against Sequester's threat model

What we are looking for

• Infrastructure engineering experience across cloud and on-prem footprints
• Proficiency with Terraform/Pulumi and at least one major cloud provider
• Solid networking and Linux fundamentals
• Security-aware design for systems handling encryption keys and user metadata

Remote-friendly. We hire globally and collaborate async-first across time zones.
