About this role

You will make Sequester observable???building dashboards, alerts, and synthetic checks so teams see problems before users lose access to their vaults.

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain monitoring agents, exporters, and log shippers across the fleet
• Design dashboards for infra health, saturation, and dependency maps
• Tune alert thresholds to reduce fatigue while preserving page-worthy signals
• Implement synthetic uptime checks for public endpoints and critical internal APIs
• Train on-call engineers on interpreting metrics during incidents

What we are looking for

• Monitoring/SRE-adjacent experience with Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or similar stacks
• Understanding of golden signals (latency, traffic, errors, saturation)
• Scripting skills for automation and alert routing integrations (PagerDuty, Slack)
• Detail orientation when labeling metrics and avoiding cardinality explosions
