About this role

You will own how traffic enters and spreads across Sequester???tuning load balancers, autoscaling policies, and edge configs for performance under viral spikes.

What you will do

Configure L4/L7 load balancers, CDN rules, and health checks for API and web tiers
Design autoscaling triggers based on meaningful signals (queue depth, error rate???not just CPU)
Lead load tests simulating upload storms and login surges; fix bottlenecks with Infra and SRE
Implement graceful connection draining and zero-downtime deployment patterns
Document capacity headroom and scaling limits for product launch planning

What we are looking for

Experience scaling high-traffic HTTP/API services behind modern load balancers
Knowledge of TLS, HTTP/2, WebSockets, and rate limiting at the edge
Scripting/automation for infra changes with peer review
Collaborative work with performance and database teams on holistic tuning
