About this role
You will design and operate Sequester's networks???LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers???so traffic is fast, segmented, and resistant to misconfiguration.
What you will do
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in prod and staging
- Implement network segmentation for admin, app, and database tiers
- Monitor latency, packet loss, and DDoS mitigation effectiveness
- Document network diagrams and change plans for audit and DR scenarios
- Collaborate with Security on zero-trust access and VPN policy updates
What we are looking for
- Network engineering experience with BGP, VPN, and enterprise firewall platforms
- Understanding of TLS termination, mTLS, and common L4/L7 load balancing patterns
- Methodical change control and rollback planning
- CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent experience welcomed
