About this role

You will translate regulations and frameworks into engineering work Sequester can actually ship???SOC2 controls, privacy obligations, and audit evidence without checkbox theater.

What you will do

• Map product and infra controls to SOC2, GDPR, and applicable privacy standards
• Collect and organize audit evidence (logs, change tickets, access reviews) on schedule
• Partner with Legal and Security on vendor DPAs and subprocessors list accuracy
• Track control gaps and drive remediation with named owners and dates
• Support customer security questionnaires with accurate, approved responses

What we are looking for

• Security compliance or GRC engineering experience in SaaS
• Understanding of control frameworks and how engineers implement them
• Excellent organizational skills for evidence collection across remote teams
• Ability to explain compliance tradeoffs without fear-mongering
