About this role

You will quality-check security itself???verifying that controls work in production builds, regressions get caught pre-release, and security requirements have testable acceptance criteria.

What you will do

• Define security test cases for releases (TLS configs, headers, session timeout, export controls)
• Automate regression checks for known vulnerability classes in CI where feasible
• Validate that security fixes include tests and do not break legitimate user flows
• Partner with AppSec on release gates and severity-based blocking rules
• Track security QA metrics: escaped vulns, test coverage, mean time to verify fix

What we are looking for

• QA experience with a security focus or AppSec background moving into QA
• Familiarity with security headers, cookie flags, and mobile permission models
• Ability to write clear pass/fail criteria for non-functional requirements
• Collaborative release discipline without adversarial team dynamics
