About this role

You will keep Sequester's bare-metal and virtual systems healthy???racking hardware, patching OS images, and executing runbooks so production stays available and auditable.

What you will do

• Install, cable, and inventory servers, switches, and storage in datacenter or colo environments
• Apply OS patches, firmware updates, and baseline hardening according to change windows
• Respond to hardware failures???drive swaps, memory replacements, PSU diagnostics
• Execute backup verification drills and document results for DR compliance
• Maintain accurate asset records (serial, location, warranty) in the CMDB

What we are looking for

• Hands-on datacenter or enterprise IT experience with Linux and Windows servers
• Comfort with remote hands coordination and vendor RMA processes
• Basic networking knowledge (VLANs, IPMI, DNS) and safety practices in rack work
• Reliability-first mindset and willingness for occasional off-hours maintenance
