About this role

We are hiring a Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Reliability team. This is a remote-friendly role for someone who wants to help build and operate products where privacy is the default.

What you will do

Contribute to Sequester's mission with hands-on work in your area of expertise
Collaborate async-first with engineers, operators, and product teammates across time zones
Help improve quality, security, and the experience for Sequester users and creators
Document decisions, share context clearly, and raise risks early

What we are looking for

Relevant experience for a Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineer role, with curiosity about privacy and security
Strong communication and ownership in a remote-friendly environment
Comfort working independently while staying aligned with team priorities
