About this role

You will hunt milliseconds and megabytes???profiling Sequester's mobile and backend paths so vault operations feel instant even on mid-range devices and slow networks.

What you will do

Profile mobile apps (CPU, memory, network, battery) and backend hot paths under load
Build repeatable benchmarks for upload, encrypt, sync, and gallery scroll scenarios
File performance regressions with flame graphs and reproduction budgets
Collaborate with engineers on fixes???caching, batching, algorithm changes???not just reports
Track performance KPIs release-over-release in dashboards

What we are looking for

Performance engineering experience on mobile, backend, or full-stack products
Tooling familiarity (Flutter DevTools, py-spy, pprof, k6, Lighthouse as relevant)
Systems thinking: know when the fix is client-side vs. API vs. database
Clear communication of tradeoffs to product and engineering leads
